Share the Warmth of God’s Love
Relationships have various types of intimacy: platonic, kinship, marital, brotherly (spiritual), or sensual. These types of intimacy are emotional, mental, spiritual, experiential, and physical. In all of these arrangements, genuine, vulnerable intimacy cannot occur apart from some sort of connection with God. The greater one’s connection with Christ, the greater the ability to achieve depths of intimacy.
God’s Intimacy Plan (GIP) discusses the process of emotional healing and why and how to value oneself so one can wholly love and value another. It discusses God’s self- esteem, His boundaries, His emotional awareness and confidence, and how He builds lasting relationships. It delves into the specific examples our Heavenly Father has set for selecting a person with whom to expose one’s heart and why one should not trust blindly.
Unfortunately, it’s common to give someone emotional access before realizing such a gift was premature or before realizing the person’s deception. God demonstrates how to remove a person who has mishandled one’s heart or who has misrepresented her/himself.
GIP discusses God’s solid plan for achieving true emotional stamina in Him so we can chart our own course for happy, healthy, supportive, and connected relationships.
